The Event Editor Window

The Event Editor displays all MIDI events contained in the selected track in a chronological numeric list according to Bars or SMPTE times. Any of the following MIDI event types contained in the track are displayed (as long as the Event Filter allows the display of that event):

• Note events

• Poly After Touch events

• Controllers events

• Programs events

• After Touch events (Channel pressure)

• Pitch Bend events

• System Exclusive events

• Bank Select
  Note: The Event Editor does not display information for audio regions within an Audio Track.

You can only view one track at a time in the Event Editor window; selecting a track in the Tracks window displays that track in the Event Editor window. In fact, double-clicking on a track in the Tracks window will open up the Event Editor if Double Click to Event Editor is selected under the Switches menu.
