The Notation Window

To open the Notation window, select it from the Windows menu or press shift-command-N.

The Notation window has three main sections:

• The Toolbar holds the tools that you use to add, delete and manipulate elements in the score.

• The Score is the document containing the staves, with their notes and other notation symbols.

• The Page View controls determine how the page is displayed.
