Velocity Stems Checking Velocity Stems displays a vertical 'stem' rising from each note displayed in the Notes (piano roll) display of the Graphic Editor window. The length of the stem indicates the velocity level of each note; the longer the stem, the greater the velocity. Unchecking Velocity Stems displays notes without stems.
